Nicole Gutiérrez-Llenza, founder, principal consultant and current President of the company, created our company in May 2001. Back in 2000, while being an architecture mayor student, Mrs. Gutiérrez-Llenza was named Permits Director in a well renowned architectural firm. After two years of intense work with both public and private sectors inside the firm, new opportunities made possible the creation of our company. Today, Advanced Permits is the commercial name for our firm, which is managed by AP GLOBAL CONSULTING CORP.
Our business idea was born from a great concern for the compliance of laws and the application of regulations in planning and development of projects located in Puerto Rico. Aware of the need and importance of good decisions at early stages of a project, a different attitude was displayed before the new definition of obtaining permits. “The Permitology” or as we say in Spanish, “Permisología”, known today as the "utopian science of permits", it’s what propels our business, our firm.
The public demand generated by the discrepancy of the processes and the dilatation of the mechanism for obtaining permits in government agencies, was the beginning of ADVANCED PERMITS.
Through the years we have been able to form close professional relationships with numerous well-known firms, involved in the planning, engineering and architecture branch, both in the public and private sectors.
Along the years, these firms have given us the opportunity to offer quality services in a fast time frame resulting in great exposure inside the field of development and construction.
